The French video game developer behind Detroit: Become Human finds itself faced with allegations of workplace harassment and tolerating racist and sexist behavior.  Studio founder, David Cage is specifically named in the reports outlined by three different French publications. Cage vociferously disputes the allegations first published by Le Monde, the Parisian newspaper of record.

Every now and then a truly original game breaks onto the scene and takes the masses by storm. Cuphead: Don’t Deal with the Devil is one of those games. The latest indie darling, Cuphead is a classic run and gun title from developer Studio MDHR. But not everything was roses and sunshine for Studio MDHR. First unveiled in 2014, Cuphead saw 3 years of development hell as it’s hand-drawn (frame by frame) style animation became an understandable, albeit wildly unique albatross around the neck of any release date. Fortunately, the title has managed to see the light of day, and the overwhelmingly positive reviews have been pouring in ever since. Without further ado, here is plus/minus.

Although it’s now considered the bronze medal of the gaming industry, Nintendo’s track record and long list of classics make it the indisputable king of gaming in the eyes of many. Since the early 1980s, the company has worked tirelessly to release a myriad of new video games every year, and until about 2009, they worked equally hard to innovate (fight me). Sometimes this innovation brought about abysmal failure, see the Virtual Boy, but in most cases the company found great success.

As with all ideas, not every one is a winner, leading to projects being scrapped for one reason or another. Unfortunately, the same can be said for some good ideas, as this list will show. But hey, some of these projects did eventually make it to production by means of repackaging… we’re just not sure that was necessarily a good thing.
